Phosphated wire

Our company is a manufacturer of phosphated steel wire low carbon.

Phosphating is used to provide additional protection against corrosion, improve hardness, wear resistance, and increase the insulating properties of the base coat on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Phosphating – is the process of coating a metal surface with a layer of sparingly soluble phosphates – salts of phosphoric acid (H3PO4). As a rule, compounds with iron, zinc, manganese are used. Such treatment is most often carried out by carbon and low alloy steels, cast iron, aluminum, and some alloys.

The main advantages of phosphating wire – are the improved quality characteristics of the obtained products:

  • high anticorrosive protection
  • hardness and durability
  • long service life
  • resistance to mechanical damage
  • improving electrical insulation properties

Phosphated wire is not exposed to oxygen, organic oils, lubricants, benzene, toluene, all gases (excluding hydrogen sulfide), hot substances.

In addition, due to its good adhesion, the phosphate film is an excellent base for coatings, processing with lubricating and passivating materials.

Products made of phosphated metal withstand temperatures from -75 to 300 ° C, and for a short time – up to 500 ° C. And in terms of resistance to corrosion, they can be operated in conditions of high humidity, for example, in a tropical climate.
